Batch #3 of our rich oak barrel aged custard. We used a variation of the original curing technique on this one to allow the oak notes to peek through a tad more. This batch was added to the barrel on 12/15/16.
Soaked Custardy is an oak barrel aged version of Soul Custardy. The liquids cured in a fresh dumped, young rye whiskey barrel for 10 weeks. The outcome: A mellow, well balanced, smooth and sophisticated custard with an earthy flavor signature all it's own. This liquid is very limited in quantity.
